Sherrie started her solo career in Contemporary Christian Music.
Her music delivers hope-filled storytelling connecting faith and everyday life with 
a contemporary sound. Sherrie’s songs are crafted to inspire, uplift, and resonate beyond church walls. 

 Rooted in a passion for encouragement, identity, and purpose, Sherrie’s music speaks to the heart of listeners navigating real life with faith and courage. Her sound sits at the intersection of contemporary CCM and mainstream pop, making her work accessible to both Christian and inspirational audiences.

Currently, Sherrie is working with acclaimed composer, orchestrator, and producer Bob Barrett whose work spans major artists and includes compositions for Walt Disney Records.

This upcoming album showcases exceptional musicianship, including world-class cellist Ginger Murphy, with additional collaborators to be announced. 

 Scheduled for release in Spring 2026, the project represents an inspired and elevated new chapter in Sherrie's musical journey.

I have worked with Sherrie Johnson for several years and her commitment to her ministry calling has been faithful. She has worked tirelessly on her development and through much prayer has created a truly inspiring testimony through song.

It has been my privilege to serve as Sherrie Johnson’s pastor for the past 18 years, and to see God work marvelously in her life. She has been a faithful member, activie in serving the Lord and honoring Him with her life and talents.
